1. Lectures and practical part
10.00 – 12.00 The lecture “Fundamentals of endoscopy cranial gastrointestinal tract cetacean (dolphin (Tursiops truncatus), beluga whale (Delphinapterus leucas), killer whale (Orcinus orca)).
History background.
Equipment and tools.
Anatomical and physiological features of the esophagus, stomach.
Anesthetic managment.
Endoscopic anatomy.
Step by step algorithm of the equipment and animals when performing endoscopy of the esophagus and stomach (dolphins, whales, killer whales): a. Routine inspection b. When removing foreign bodies in. In control studies.
Overview endoscopically significant abnormalities (functional disorders and their consequences, inflammatory diseases). Analysis of the changes seen.
Clinical cases.

15.00-15-15 Coffee – break
15.15-16.30 Familiarity with the equipment for the flexible endoscopy in the dry lab mode – a practical lesson.
Work on the layout. Imitation remove various size and consistency of foreign bodies. Rules for working with manipulators for biopsy sampling of liquid media on analyses, principles removing foreign bodies.
16.30-16.50 Cleaning, care and sterilisation equipment for the flexible endoscopy.
16.50-17.00 The completion of the working day. Discussion.
The second day, 4 December
Venue: Mosquarium
2. The practical part
10.00-12.00 Endoscopy of the esophagus and stomach in dolphins. instructor demonstration. Participation in the implementation of manipulation listeners. Analysis found changes. Preparation of research protocols.
12.00 – 13.00 Dinner
13.00 – 15.00 Implementation of the esophagus and gastric endoscopy procedures in dolphin trainees under the direct supervision of the instructor.
15.00-17.00 Discussion of the results of the master class. Completion of introductory course. Presentation of certificates.
